We tell ourselves nice things repeatedly to achieve a goal or feel better. Whatever helps us feel better or accomplish a goal is a positive affirmation. You may enhance your self-esteem and confidence by repeating the affirmations “I’m strong and optimistic, I’m worthy, I’m ready to reach my objectives, I am becoming the greatest version of myself, and I’m grateful for what I have today” in front of a mirror many times a day.

  • The part of your mind that operates at a lower level of awareness than your normal waking consciousness is known as the “subconscious.”

  • Your current point of view was originally formed when you were a baby. It is like a sponge that absorbs knowledge from every experience.
  • The fact that you didn’t have any pre-existing opinions that would contradict what it witnessed meant it didn’t reject anything when you were a youngster. The system took all you learnt in your first few years of life as a given.
  • It should be evident why this becomes a problem later in life. A person’s labelling of you as incompetent was only an opportunity for your subconscious mind to store the information so that you may utilize it later.
  • Your physical ability, skin colour, gender, or socioeconomic status may also have provided clues about what you can and can’t do in life.
  • By the time you were 7, 8, or even 9 years old, you already had a solid foundation of views shaped by the examples of the people in your life, the media exposed to, and other factors.

The following are some pointers to keep in mind while you work on your affirmations

What are affirmations? How can they be used? Writing in the present tense like “I am glad now” is common, as in “I am pleased today.” Studies have shown that our subconscious responds better to affirmations when things are happening right now rather than when something will happen in the future. To get the most out of positive thinking, it’s best to have a clear goal in mind. The more correctly you can imagine the situation, the more likely you will earn a salary increase.

There should be no more than three repetitions of the affirmation every day. Please put your trust in it when you do. Every day, say the affirmation aloud for at least four minutes four times. There is no need to hurry through it.  There is no specific time limit for when you should stop utilizing affirmations, and you may use them as long as you need to to achieve your goals. The more you practice affirmations in front of a mirror, the better they work.
