Things to Know About the IQOS

Exchanges of a new heat-not-burn option to cigarettes are now permitted in many places of the world. The Food and Drug Administration will allow the product IQOS to be retailed as a “modified risk” tobacco product to individuals over the age of 18.

The FDA has started a crackdown on the usage of e-cigarettes among young people and announced that purchasing this new product will be highly prohibited except for adult smokers only. This is because so many kids started taking e-cigarettes like JUUL.

About IQOS

IQOS looks like other e-cigarettes. It’s a big, pen-shaped device. It was first created by tobacco companies Altria and Philip Morris when they were still one organization.

IQOS is a tobacco heating system that uses tobacco that is tied in a special paper to provide nicotine to stoners.

These “heat sticks” are heated up inside the IQOS and nicotine is squirted with other tobacco units and flavors for stoners to inflate.

This is different from regular cigarettes, which simmer tobacco. The main thing, however, is that the aerosol discharged by the hot tobacco in IQOS contains cancerous chemicals.

Is IQOS safer than smoking cigarettes?

Because it contains tobacco, the chemicals released in the aerosol from an IQOS device are similar to cancer-causing substances found in cigarettes and e-cigarettes. Some were set up in IQOS at even higher levels, while others were poorer.

Heating tobacco instead of burning may generate fewer cancer-causing substances. And the ones that are expelled are in very shorter quantities. But that doesn’t imply IQOS is not harmful.

How does IQOS vary from JUUL and other e-cigarettes?

Heat-not-burn products are distinct from e-cigarettes because they use real tobacco, not the flavored e-liquid commonly found in e-cigarettes. The intention behind IQOS is that it permits the stoners to comprehend what feels like smoking a regular cigarette without expanding combusted tobacco.

E-cigarettes presently on the market are nicotine delivery tools that have a battery, a heating component, and a container for liquid. When the liquid is warmed up, users inhale the aerosol as a vapor.

IQOS devices do not employ heated liquids, like e-cigarettes, to provide nicotine into the body. IQOS devices heated tobacco leaves that encompass many commonly existing toxins and cancer-producing materials.

Another way e-cigarettes and IQOS devices vary: E-cigarette liquids come in a mixture of flavors. IQOS only comes in normal tobacco flavor or menthol.
