Understand the Difference Between Excuses and Reasons

Excuses are something that every person has in their life. But there are some people who grow out of their excuses and stay strong and admit it that its their fault. There are many ways in which you can grow stronger and admit your mistake. Admittance of failure and irresponsibility is the first step that people can take towards becoming responsible or acting with responsibility. Besides all of that, there can also be some situations or scenarios where or in which your excuses can be valid. One cannot always act responsibly or being responsible take the liability unnecessarily. 

Liability is Important – 

One of the most important things that you should know about liability (responsibility) is that, taking one such is very pivotal. You cannot always give excuses & then say that is so. Some times giving genuine reason is good, but always it is not possible for a person to be in the same circle, unless there is some error or mistake or technical issues or weather conditions or an inevitable situation. Many times, it also happens that people face inevitable situations due to which they have to give reasons, which are mistaken for excuses. 

Inevitable Situations –  

Inevitable situation is one such scenario or situation that becomes impossible to deal with. And, during such a scenario the person is helpless. It can be a situation like a person’s health deteriorates, or some geographical conditions, which makes it impossible for people to meet up with their liabilities. Or some technical glitch, which makes it near to impossible for people to finish their work and so on. So, such reasons cannot be termed as excuses. They are reasons as to why a certain task could not be completed. So, people should be careful when they are judging a particular situation or person. 

Difference Between Excuses & Genuine Reasons – 

There is a huge difference between excuses and genuine reasons. People who give excuses are often lazy and display a lazy attitude and tendency and lack of responsibility. Whereas, the people who are hard-working and come across a hindrance in their work, have genuine reasons for the same. Besides all of that, there are people who are lazy and they will always have silly excuses for not completing their work. Some of the reasons comprises of I missed the bus, or there was no cab and so on are the excuses which people give. So, it is very important to understand the differences between reasons and excuses and understand which is a genuine excuse or a reason and which is not.
